Supporting the Mission

The work of the Dominican Sisters cannot be sustained without the support and prayers of those whom we serve and who serve with us. Sisters have traditionally undertaken work for the sole purpose of ministering to others.

For this reason we depend on financial assistance to continue long term projects such as the Crown Point Ecology Center, as well as social service projects, religious education, and pastoral care. Our elderly infirm sisters require particular attention and devotion. Living facilities require continual maintenance. Health care must be attentive, compassionate and available. Without financial support, we could not offer the kind of care our sisters should have or continue the work we have begun. Our prayers and gratitude are a small repayment for the generosity of others. The sisters gather weekly to pray specifically for benefactors.
