Hear and Proclaim
HEAR AND PROCLAIM (sponsored by the Dominican Sisters and Associates) is a program designed to assist people to deepen their relationship with God, self and others. The fourth year of the program will continue the outreach begun during the first three years, consisting of Taizé services, individual spiritual direction sessions, days/evenings of presentations and reflection, spiritual book sharing and prayer outreach.
The Dominican sisters and associates invite you to join us for any or all of this Hear and Proclaim Program.
Taizé Prayer
Reflective prayer consisting of scripture readings, meditative chants, periods of silence and prayer at the cross. The prayer takes place in the Motherhouse chapel at 7:00 PM on the second Thursday of each month from September through March.
Spiritual Book Sharing
Small groups will gather in the afternoon or evening to discuss this fall’s book selection, Jesus Today, by Albert Nolan, OP. The times and days will be announced to those persons expressing an interest.

A Time to Rediscover the Gift
Presented by Diane Hardick, Pastoral Associate at Our Lady of Victory Church
November 30 at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of the Elms Motherhouse Chapel.
The season of Advent calls us to rediscover and treasure more deeply the Gift that has already been given. Join us for prayer, reflection, music and ritual during this season of miracles and hope.
A free-will offering will be accepted.
Lent
Lenten Walking with the Word
The Gospel of John presented by Dominican Sister Diana Culbertson
March 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 7:00 PM in the Saint Joseph Room of Our Lady of the Elms Motherhouse.
These four presentations will focus on the Gospel of John, emphasizing the evangelist’s understanding of the identity of Jesus, his vision of the destiny of the believer and the role of the Spirit in the life of the Christian.
A free-will offering will be accepted.
Spiritual Direction
An experienced spiritual director will meet with you regularly so that together you may look at how the Spirit of God is acting and leading you through the events of your life and relationships. Arrangements can be made by calling the Motherhouse.
Prayer Requests
Your intentions are prayed for individually through the week by the sisters at Our Lady of the Elms and at Regina Health Center. The sisters at the Motherhouse gather on Sunday mornings to pray for your requests.
